Biography

The main activities of nephrologist Prof. Christoph Schmaderer:

Prof. Christoph Schmaderer, MD, is a well-known nephrologist in Germany and throughout Europe. Initially, Christoph Schmaderer was trained as a general practitioner. From 2002 to 2007, he was trained as a nephrologist. At the end of his training, Christoph Schmaderer received a fellowship to work at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Pathology. After completing his fellowship, Christoph Schmaderer continued his training in the field of nephrology until 2011. Since 2011, Dr. Schmaderer became senior physician in the Department of Nephrology at the Klinikum Rechts der Isar. Since 2015, he has been appointed lead physician in the Department of Nephrology.

Christoph Schmaderer carried out his scientific and clinical activities at various universities and clinics around the world: medical research at the Technical University of Munich, the University of Bern (Switzerland) and Dartmouth Medical School (New Hampshire, USA). In addition, he trained specialists for many years at the Klinikum rechts der Isar in Munich.
